Massive Black-winged Bird Invades Penarth

In November 2005 a woman in Penarth, near Cardiff, Wales described a bird-like creature with black wings that crawled over he fence making a rustling sound. She said its wingspan was as large as the window in the Penarth Times office. My colleague Oliver Lewis, who investigated this case measured the window in question and found that it was 2.60M or around 8 1/2 feet. The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, was to scared to enter her garden for a week.
